Supporting The Museum

For many years, our museum has been proudly supported by the generosity of donors, sponsors, and volunteers — allowing us to welcome visitors free of charge. This support has helped us preserve our aviation heritage and inspire future generations.
However, due to rising operational costs and the need to maintain and improve our exhibits, we have introduced a modest admission fee for the first time this year. This decision was not made lightly, and all proceeds go directly toward sustaining the museum, enhancing visitor experiences, and continuing our educational programs.
We remain deeply grateful for your support, and we thank you for helping us keep the spirit of aviation alive.

Adult £10

Child aged 5-17 £5

Child under 5 Free

Family ticket £20 which allows entry for up to two adults and three children

Tickets can be purchased in advance for the same prices, this is usually unneccessary, but will speed things up on busy days. If you do pay in advance just show your on-line ticket (on your phone is fine) at the gate where they will issue a wristband for the day. To convert an on-line ticket to an annual one just fill in a gift aid form in the shop. Otherwise please pay in the shop and we will supply a wristband.

Donations

The museum exists through the generosity of our donors, whose support allows us to preserve and showcase the rich heritage of aviation.
Every contribution helps maintain our historic aircraft, enhance our exhibits, and provide educational experiences for visitors of all ages. We receive no regular government funding, so your support is vital in keeping this important history alive. Whether it’s a one-time gift or a regular donation, your generosity ensures that future generations can learn from and be inspired by the stories we preserve.
If you’ve enjoyed your visit or believe in our mission, please consider supporting us. Every donation, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for helping us keep history flying.

Become a Volunteer

Ignite your passion! Volunteer at our aviation museum.
The museum has one paid employee, everyone else is a volunteer. If you have retired and miss the camaraderie, but not the stress, then volunteering with us might be just the thing for you. If you are looking for work, but need that extra something on your CV then volunteering here might be useful to you, and you to us. In order to help, and be covered by our insurance you need to be a member of the museum, but that does entitle you to free tea/coffee whilst you are here and to attend a couple of social events per year.

The best way to get in touch initially is via our email address: Volunteer@aviationmuseum.net
